การอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมชายฝั่งอ่าวไทย: กรณีศึกษา จังหวัดระยอง และจังหวัดจันทบุรี

Abstract

  การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อศึกษาสภาพ ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม และเสนอแนะนโยบายเพื่อการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมบริเวณชายฝั่งอ่าวไทย ผลการศึกษาพบว่าป่าชายเลยและสภาพแวดล้อมบริเวณชายฝั่งทะเลเสื่อมโทรมมากเนื่องจากการทำนากุ้ง การปล่อยของเสียจากโรงงาน การปล่อยสารเคมีจากการทำนาข้าว และการทิ้งขยะของสมาชิกชุมชนและนักท่องเที่ยวรวมทั้งการกัดเซาะชายฝั่งของคลื่นจากทะเล นโยบายสาธารณะที่เสนอแนะเป็นเรื่องเกี่ยวกับมาตรการในการแก้ปัญหาสภาพป่าชายเลนที่เสื่อมโทรม การกัดเซาะชายฝั่งของคลื่นจากทะเลและการจัดการขยะของชุมชน

      The main purposes of this research were to look into the environmental conditions and problems of environmental conservation and to suggest policies pertaining to environmental conservation along the coast in the gulf of Thailand. The investigation revealed that the mangrove forest and environment in the coastal areas were greatly deteriorated due mainly to shrimp farming, emission of liquid wastes from factories, release of chemicals from rice farms, and garbage disposal by community members and tourists. Coastal erosion due to sea wave added to further deterioration of the coastal areas. Public policy measures were recommended for alleviation of the deteriorating mangrove forest, and coastal erosion, and for community garbage management
