The Development of Participatory Classroom Management System to Monitor Class Attendance and Behavior through Online System

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) to develop a system to check attendance and to follow up on the students’ behavior while in class via an online system and 2) to study the satisfaction of lecturers, learners, parents/guardians and advisors about attendance and to follow up the students’ behaviors when attended class via an online system. The samples for the research were lecturers from Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, Trang Campus (37 people), 4th year students of the Information Technology Program, Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, Trang Campus, who registered for the Information Technology Service Center Management Subject, 1st semester of 2015 academic year and parents/guardians of 30 students. The statistics used in this research were mean, standard deviation and percentage. The means used for word formatting development are PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java in order to work through the web browser with Swift language to develop applications on the iOS operating system, and use the MySQL database management system.
The result of research was found that the developed system can be used to follow up on the students’ class attendance behavior. The mean of overall lecturers and advisors were satisfied with using via browser at a highest level (=4.37, S.D.=.16) and they were pleased with using via application at a highest level (=4.33, S.D.=.10). The mean of overall students and guardians were satisfied with using via browser at a highest level (=4.38, S.D.=.16) and they were pleased with using via application at a highest level (=4.57, S.D.=.06). The evaluation of speed of system which worked on browser was found that the speed was faster than using via application with average time around 0.95 /1.91 seconds or ratio 1:2.
