ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับลักษณะบุคคลที่สะท้อนจากอวัยวะต่าง ๆ บนใบหน้า ตามคำทำนายของตำรานรลักษณ์ฉบับพลูหลวง

บทคัดย่อ
ตามหลักความเชื่อโบราณนั้น ศาสตร์นรลักษณ์มีความสำคัญในแง่ของการทำนายลักษณะต่าง ๆ ของมนุษย์เป็นรากฐานสำคัญที่แสดงให้เห็นปรากฏการณ์และวิวัฒนาการ การมีลักษณะนรลักษณ์ดีย่อมส่งเสริมให้ชีวิตประสบความสำเร็จ นอกจากนี้ ความเชื่อที่แฝงในคำทำนายยังบ่งบอกถึงสิ่งยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจและการปฏิบัติตนในสังคม สามารถสะท้อนความคิด ความเข้าใจ การยอมรับนับถือและเชื่อมั่นสิ่งที่จะเกิดผลดี หรือผลร้ายต่อมนุษย์ บทความวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับลักษณะบุคคลที่สะท้อนจากอวัยวะต่าง ๆ บนใบหน้าตามคำทำนายของตำรานรลักษณ์ฉบับพลูหลวง ใช้วิธีการศึกษาเอกสารและนำเสนอผลการวิจัยในรูปแบบการพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการศึกษา พบว่า มีความเชื่อหลากหลายในตำรานรลักษณ์ฉบับพลูหลวง เพราะเกิดจากการสังเกตอวัยวะบนใบหน้าที่เชื่อมโยงกับชะตาชีวิตหลายรูปแบบของมนุษย์ โดยพิจารณาเกณฑ์ความเชื่อ 2 แบบ คือ ความเชื่อมงคลและความเชื่ออัปมงคล โดย 1) ความเชื่อมงคลในชีวิต แบ่งออกเป็น 1.1) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกความมั่งมี ร่ำรวย 1.2) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกความเจริญมั่นคงในหน้าที่อาชีพและการงาน 1.3) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกอายุที่ยืนยาว 1.4) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกการมีอำนาจ วาสนาและเป็นสุข 1.5) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกความฉลาด ปฏิภาณ ไหวพริบ 1.6) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกการมีคู่ครองและครอบครัวที่ส่งเสริมในชีวิต และ 1.7) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกการเป็นคนดี มีคุณธรรม และ 2) ความเชื่ออัปมงคลในชีวิต แบ่งออกเป็น 2.1) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกความยากจน 2.2) ความเชื่อ บ่งบอกอุปสรรค ความตกต่ำในอาชีพการงาน 2.3) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกอายุขัยที่ไม่ยืนยาว 2.4) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกความโง่เขลา เบาปัญญา 2.5) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกการไร้ญาติขาดมิตร หรืออาภัพคู่ครอง 2.6) ความเชื่อบ่งบอกนิสัยที่ไม่ดี และ 2.7) ความเชื่อ บ่งบอกความเข็ญใจ ทุกข์ใจ ไร้วาสนา ประโยชน์จากการศึกษานี้ได้เห็นถึงคุณค่าของภูมิปัญญาคนไทยในการสังเกตอวัยวะบนใบหน้ากับการทำนายชะตาชีวิตของมนุษย์
