About the Journal
Social Sciences Academic Journal is the academic journal published by Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University since 1970. The journal’s editor and its editorial team members are those academics who are from both inside the Faculty of Social Sciences and from other leading Social Sciences faculties in Thailand. The aim of this journal is to publish a high-quality work and/or a research finding, particularly in Anthropology, Development Studies, Geography, Sociology and Women Studies to the public. Later in the year 2018, the Journal of Social Sciences has started producing journals in electronic format (Online)
- Objectives
- To publish and disseminate high quality research papers in of the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- To encourage scholars and students in Social Sciences and Humanities to produce high quality academic works that are useful in both academic and general sectors in society.
- To serve as space for academic exchange, debates and responses on contemporary issues in society.
- Focus and Scope
Journal of Social Sciences has the policy to publish high-quality articles in the field of Social Sciences especially in the fields of anthropology, education, geography, sociology, and women's education focusing on lecturers, students and researchers from any institutions.

All articles must be reviewed by at least 3 qualified reviewers (double blinded review)
