The Development of Computer- Assisted Interactive Program in Teaching English through Songs for KU Students Taking Foundation English Courses

บทคัดย่อ

The computer-assisted interactive program is the development of the interactive English language program for self-study through popular English songs to enhance the listening skills of students taking Foundation English courses at Kasetsart University. The designed program can be accessed via the Kasetsart University computer networking system or via CD Rom. The program consists of 9 songs, each of which is accompanied by lyrics, translations, links to artists' websites, listening practices, 11 language focuses, vocabulary and expressions, and practices in language use in various interactive formats, totaling 30 exercises. Out of 50 subjects in the Foundation English courses, 42.85% are satisfied with high interactiveness of the program and 56.14% admit that they have learned a great deal from the program.
