A Comparison of Achievement in Reading French of Mathayomsuksa Five Students by Using the Teacher-Student Strategy and the Computer Assisted Instruction (1989-1990).
บทคัดย่อ
The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the French reading achievement between teacher-student strategy and computer assisted instruction of students in Mathauomsuksa Five in Bangkok metropolis. The subjects consisted of fifty students, divided into two groups of twenty-five students : the experimental group and the control group. The instruments used in this study were French reading lesson, the teacher’s handbook and the achievement test. The researcher taught students in the control group for one to two periods of fifty minutes. The experimental group learn with the computer lesson for about the same time. At the end of the experiment, the students from both groups took the same achievement test. The selected data were analyzed through the application of Pooled variance t-test and match-paired t-test. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the achievement of Mathayomsuksa Five Students between the experimental group and the control group at the .05 level of significance. There was a significant difference between the pretest and the posttest for the low-graded students of the experimental group at the .05 level of significance. There was no significant difference between the pretest and the posttest for the high-graded students of the experimental group at the .05 level of significance.
