Development of Screening Inventory for Students at Risk of Exposure to Bullying Behavior in Islamic Private Schools, Songkhla Province

     The purpose of this research was to develop a screening inventory for students at risk of exposure to bullying behavior in Islamic Private Schools, Songkhla province. In total, 1,592 students from 10 schools in the academics year 2010 participated based on multi›stage random sampling. Data were analyzed by index of item objective congruence, discrimination power index, coefficient of internal consistency of reliability coefficient, normalized T-score, and percentile rank. The study found that the 26 items on the first screening inventory form and 28 items on the second screening inventory form were valid. These two screening inventories had significant discrimination power, high reliability, and equally provided 100 percent predictive validity in identifying those students who had high-risk behavior that would expose them to bullying.
