Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) to study the level of
the satisfaction of the farmers participating in the Career Development
Project in Accordance with the Needs for Drought Alleviation of the
Community, Ratchaburi Province, 2) to compare the satisfaction of
farmers participating in Career Development Project in Accordance with
the Needs for Drought Alleviation of the Community, Ratchaburi
Province, classified by personal factors, and 3) to study the relationship
between farmers' knowledge about the Career Development Project in
Accordance with the Needs for Drought Alleviation of the Community
and the satisfaction of the farmers participating in Career Development
Project in Accordance with the Needs for Drought Alleviation of the
Community, Ratchaburi Province.
The samples used in this study were 350 farmers who
participated in the Project by using questionnaire as a research tool.
The obtained data were computer program. The statistics used for data
analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and
Pearson Correlation with the significance level at.05.
The research found that the overall satisfaction of the farmers
toward the Career Development Project in Accordance with the Needs
for Drought Alleviation of the Community, Ratchaburi Province was at
high level (mean 3.78). The hypothesis testing, the research found that
people who were different in gender, age, marital status, educational
level, types of farming and assistance from the project, satisfied toward
the Career Development Project in Accordance with the Needs for
Drought Alleviation of Community, Ratchaburi Province differentlyMeanwhile, the farmers' knowledge about the Career Development
Project in Accordance with the Needs for Drought Alleviation of theCommunity, Ratchaburi Province was not related to the satisfaction of
the farmers toward the participation in the Career Development Project
in Accordance with the Needs for Drought Alleviation of the
Community, Ratchaburi Province.
