Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of the
political participation of people in the Panomsarakram municipal,
Panomsarakram district, Chachoengsao province and to determine
factors affected their the political participation.
The samples composed of 378 people in the Panomsarakram
municipal, Panomsarakram district, Chachoengsao. The data were
collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using the packaging
computer program. Statistical tools employed in data analysis and
presented through percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and
One-way ANOVA. The level of significance for statistical testing was 0.05
The research findings are as follow. The level of the political
participation of people in the Panomsarakram municipal, Panomsarakram
district, Chachoengsao was low. According to the hypothesis testing,
gender, age, occupation and income per month caused any difference
in the political participation. The level of significance for statistical
testing was 0.05 However, level of education did not caused difference
in the political participation. The level of significance for statistical
testing was 0.05
