Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of
democratic political attitude of people in the Bankum sub-district,
Mueang district, Phetchaburi province, to compare democratic political
attitude of people in the Bankum sub-district, Mueang district,
Phetchaburi province according to demographic factors and to study
the relationship between political socialization and democratic political
attitude of people in the Bankum sub-district, Mueang district,
Phetchaburi province
The samples of this research were 381 people in the Bankum
sub-district, Mueang district, Phetchaburi province. The data were
collected by questionnaire and analyzed by the computer program.
Statistics employed this research were percentage, mean, standard
deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson, Product – Moment
Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance for statistical testing
was 0.05
The research findings revealed that the level of democratic
political attitude of people in the Bankum sub-district, Mueang district,
Phetchaburi province was high. The hypothesis testing founded that
differences in age and level of education had different democratic
political attitude at 0. 05. In addition, political socialization had low
positive relationship with democratic political attitude at .05.
