This research is a study of the opinions of graduate students, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University towards desirable politicians. Objectives of the research aim (1) to study the level of opinions of graduate students towards desirable politicians, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University (2) to compare the desirable politicians of graduate students, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University by personal factors : gender, age, domicile (3) to study relationships between Thai politics knowledge and democratic opinions and desirable politicians of graduate students, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University.
The total of 116 samplings collected from political science graduate students, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University. A questionnaire is a research instrument which is used for collecting data. Data analysis are Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, One-Way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA). When we find the difference, we test the difference by LSD (Least-Significant Different).
Research result revealed that the samplings had high level of opinion towards desirable politicians. The issues which had the highest score were following items; good politicians must have a vision, far-sightedness, not stubborn, must be open and tolerate various opinion. The hypothesis test found that the samplings, who had different age had different opinion on desirable politicians. with statistical significance at 0.05 level. Whereas samplings who had different gender, area study, domicile had no different opinion on desirable politicians. Thai politics knowledge and democratic opinions related to opinion towards desirable politicians. with statistical significance at 0.05 level.
