Coordination between Nongkhwai Municipality and People in Creating Transparency Community, Nongkhwai, Hang Dong, Chiang Mai

Abstract

This study has the objectives to (1) study the coordination between the municipality and people to creating a transparency NongKhwai community. (2) Study about factors involved in creating a transparency community of municipal by using qualitative research and the gathering data by using the semi structured interview include the data collection from documentary research and descriptive analysis. The source of main information is the executives committee of municipal, mayor, deputy mayor, municipal clerk, sub district headman, village headman, disaster prevention volunteer group leader, public health volunteer group leader, civil boy scout group leader, women empowerment group leader, prize committee from king Prajadhipok’s institute and community development.  The result of study found that the coordination between municipality and people in creating transparency, course by the interaction between three important factor consist of first, municipality administration based on the transparency work and people cooperating. Second point, the community leader has a role of relativity united between  municipality and people to make understand the process of municipality’s work and to make municipality understand what is people’s require and the last point, people can participate the project and activity that provided by municipality to strengthen the community’s united and investigate the municipality’s work for transparency. Factor affecting of coordination that can devied into four factors such leader ship, community strength point, value, community culture and participation in.
