e-Government in the Developing Countries

This article is the investigation of factor affecting the policy implementation of e-government in the developing countries by categorizing factors affecting the successes or failures of e-Government in the developing countries into public policy implementation factors. The finding reveals that six public policy implementation factors (such as clarity of policy goals and directives; characteristics of public agencies / internal management of public agencies in term of coordination, communication, and enforcement of policy; resources, external actors’ support and controls; implementers’ disposition; and implementing agency’s capacity) cover all factors affect the successes or failures of e-Government in the developing countries.
