Factors Affecting Political Participation of People in Wang Wa Municipality, Si Prachan District, Suphan Buri Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of political participation of people in Wang Wa Municipality Si Prachan District, Suphan Buri Province. The samples composed of 375 people in  Wang Wa municipality Si Prachan district, Suphan Buri province. The data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using the packaging computer program. Statistical tools employed in data analysis and presented through percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson Product – Moment Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance for statistical testing was 0.05. The research findings are as follow. The level of political participation of people in Wang Wa municipality Si Prachan district, Suphan Buri province was moderate. According to the hypothesis is testing, level of education, political socialization and political efficacy caused any difference in the political participation. However, gender and age did not cause difference in the political participation.
