Factors related to team effectiveness in the Department of Industrial Works

Abstract

The purpose of this study was the following: 1) to study the level of team effectiveness in the Department of Industrial Works and 2) to study the relationship between team management factors, internal communication factors and organizational culture factors with the effectiveness of the team in the Department of Industrial Works The samples used in the research were 239 government officers. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis with statistical significance at the level of 0.05. The results showed that the effectiveness level of the team in the Department of Industrial Works at a high level.

            The hypothesis testing found that first, team management factors correlated with team effectiveness in the Department of Industrial Works with statistical significance at the level of 0.05 which has a moderate level and able to predict the effectiveness of the team by 32 percent. Second, Organizational communication factors have correlated with the effectiveness of the team in the Department of Industrial Works with statistical significance at the level of 0.05 which has a moderate level and can predict 39 percent of the effectiveness of the team. Finally, Organizational culture factors correlated with the effectiveness of the team in the Department of Industrial Works with statistical significance at the level of. 0.05 which has a high level it can predict the effectiveness of the team by 57 percent.
