Quality of Working Life of Municipal Personnel in Pranburi District Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the level of quality of working life of municipal personnel in Pranburi district Pranburi district, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. 2) the factors affecting quality of working life of the municipal personnel in Pranburi district Pranburi district, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. 3) the factors affecting quality of working life that related to a causal relationship with the quality of working life of the municipal personnel in Pranburi district, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The sample group used in this research was 130 municipal officers in Pranburi district, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The descriptive statistics used for analyzing the data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics were chi-square test and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that 1) the municipal personnel in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province has overall quality of working life at a moderate level. There are sorted in the following order: the life balance, discipline, rules and fairness, environment, career advancement and stability, compensation, engagement and social acceptance, potential development, and beneficial works for society 2) the factors affecting the quality of working life of municipal personnel in Pranburi district, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province in overall are at a moderate level and sorted in the following order from variety of jobs, freedom of work, the opportunity to interact with others, and job challenges 3) the factors affecting quality of working life related with causal relationship in of municipal personnel in the quality of working life Pranburi district. Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. When considering each aspect, found that the variety of jobs, the freedom of work, the work challenge, and the opportunity to interact with others are in causal relationship with the quality of work life of municipal personnel in Pranburi district Prachuap Khiri Khan Province with statistical significance at the level of .001
