People’s Expectation and Perception on Waste Management Quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administrative Organization Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the level of people’s expectation and perception on waste management quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province. 2) compare the level of people’s expectation and perception on waste management quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province. 3) compare to people’s expectation and perception on waste management quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province analyzed by personal. The samples used in this study were 400 people of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province. Data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics methods, which were percentage, mean, standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics which included Independent Sample t-test, One- Way ANOVA, and LSD Paired sample t-test. The findings showed that 1) people’s expectation and perception on waste management quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province were rated as a high level. 2) the comparison of the level of expectation and perception level of people in solid waste management quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization were found that the quality of solid waste management was higher than the expectation of solid waste management quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization in all aspects. and 3) the comparison of expectation and perception of people in solid waste management quality of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization which are classified by personal characteristics were found that there was not different expectation in the quality of solid waste management for people with different sex, age, status, education level, average income per month, occupation and number of family members. For people with different monthly income, there were significant differences in statics at the level of .05 on perception of solid waste management quality. There was not different perception in the quality of solid waste management of people with different gender, age, status, education level, occupation and number of family members of Thammasen Subdistrict Administration Organization.
