Abstract
The Special Case Investigation Act, B.E. 2547 (A.D. 2004), is the law focusing on suppression of commission of special criminal offenses. It provides with a multitude special case investigation measures. These measures should be suppression to transnational crimes. However, the study found that the said Act still lacks some measures, which were stipulated in the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, A.D. 2000. Moreover, the Act is limited to operations in the framework of the domestic law. As such, it is incompatible with nature of the special cases, which are transnational organized crimes. Therefore, the Authors have conducted the study and research, and prepared the Draft Special Case Investigation Act (No. ...), B.E. …. (A.D. ….). Essential principles of the drafted Act are to provide with special case investigation measures or techniques, necessary for and consistent with the universal practices, in order to achieve efficient of law enforcement against special crimes and transnational crimes.
