Abstract

This research article aims to study the employment process for security guards and focuses on security work performed by private companies, using the Bank of Thailand (BOT) as a case study. It also offers solutions to legal and regulatory-related issues and develops security measures that are efficient, secure, and promote peace.

The study concluded that the Bank of Thailand’s employment procedure for security guards had two primary issues that hindered the efficacy of security measures: the complexity of the legislation and a lack of specific training. These issues led to holes and issues in the security guard hiring procedure and had an impact on relevant legal actions.

The researcher offers the following recommendations as a framework for developing the Bank of Thailand’s security system. In order to improve the employment procedure standards and criteria, it is necessary to: (1) develop a law establishing control standards for security business operators; (2) develop a training program; and (3) develop a monitoring and performance assessment system. Additionally, the Bank of Thailand’s security system should be progressed in order to safeguard people, locations, information, and assets from threats. The strategy put out in this article has the potential to improve the effectiveness of the Bank of Thailand’s security system while instilling confidence and safety in people, financial institutions, and the economy as a whole.
