The Development of EducationQuality Assurance Model of Chaulachomklao Royal Military Academy

Abstract

The purposes of this researchwere(1) to develop the model of systemand mechanism of internal quality assuranceof Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy and (2) tostudy theopinions of personnel in Chulachomklao Royal Military Academyregarding possibility of the modelimplementation.The research methodology used the combination of qualitative research and quantitative research. The qualitative research wasconductedto analyze various documents, quality theories, guidelines of the Office of Standards and Quality Assessment (Public Organization),current situation of Chulachomklao Royal MilitaryAcademy and interview of ten personnelwho involvedin education ofChulachomklao Royal Military Academy and to design quality assurance system of ChulachomklaoRoyal Military Academy that  consisted of 5 standards and 11 indicators. The quantitative research wasconducted to design questionnaires concerning possibility of the model implementation and ask 200 samples. 


                   The findings revealed that the system and mechanism of educational quality assurance of Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy consisted of three possible components :(1) the principle of internal quality assessment  with possibility mean 4.02, (2) Internal Quality assessment  Framework with possibility mean 4.04, (3) assessment method with possibility mean 4.24 .


                   The possibility mean of 5standards found as following : standard 1cadet quality (3 indicators) with possibility mean4.03, standard 2 administration process and education management of school administrator (4 indicators) with possibility mean 4.24, standard 3 educationmanagement process based on child center (3 indicators) with possibility mean 4.07, standard 4 the effective Internal quality assurance ( 1 indicator) with possibility mean 4.08 and the standard 5  distinctive specialty with possibility mean 4.04.


      As the result indicated that the possibility mean of 5 standards of the overall system and quality assurance mechanism of the ChulachomklaoRoyalMilitary Academy was a high level (4.09) .
