The objectives of the research “A Knowledge Transmission Phenomena Study of Satellite-based Distance Education” for Rajaprajanugroh School are:(1) To study the mechanism of satellite-based distance education. (2) To study the King’s philosophical education (3) To study and analyze any life concepts, in accordance with the King’s philosophy, of students participating in the satellite-based distance education program. This research is qualitative research that collected information from interviews and reliable sources. It is also a data analysis relating to the King’s philosophical education, the concept of satellitebased distance education, constructivist theories, and geosocial.

According to the study, the mechanism of satellite-based distance education consists of three processes: (1) Pre-study process: Inform about the objectives of the study to initiate learning processes, motivate students and reviewing their previous knowledge. (2) On-going process: Observe the behavior of the students whether they pay attention to the class. (3) Post-study process: Summarize the learned contents corresponding to the previously informed objectives, answer questions, explain additional details and assign issue to initiate the thinking process integrating with previously taught knowledge a review process according to constructivist theory-to create new experiences for students and teach them to apply the knowledge in their daily lives correctly. The strength of the satellite-based distance education project is that it is one of the Royal Projects and is thus supported by all government sectors.

The Royal Philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is as essential as educational philosophy; not only does it consists of concepts, attitudes and beliefs that become the main principle in work process, it also contains the constituents, meanings, and objectives of education. When compared to applied education philosophy, The Royal Philosophy has all the necessary constituents to be considered educational philosophy. While its concepts are not similar to a particular applied educational philosophy, it is an integration of six educational philosophy and is proven to be practical.

Not only did the students receive a great deal of knowledge through satellite-based distance education, but they also learned about the other forms of the Royal Philosophy such as Progressivism and Reconstructionism. This life concept is transmitted from one to another in respect and remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej who gave them an educational opportunity. As a result, students learned about various life concepts such as sufficiency, responsibility, diligence, enthusiasm, technological literacy, and harmony.

The phenomena of satellite-based distance education at Rajaprajanugroh School is the mechanism that creates complete education following the King’s footsteps in education as it is educational, moralistic, and sacrificial for the common good. In conclusion, satellite-based distance education at Rajaprajanugroh School, a boarding school, should be particularly supported by the government sectors, especially in a great number of small schools, in order to enhance the quality of the development of human resources in our country.
