Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • 1. Article formatting: Use Microsoft Word, TH SarabunPSK font, 16-point size.
    Single line spacing, Thai Distributed layout. Length:
    No more than 15 pages.
    2. Page Setup:
    Paper size: 18.5 cm wide x 26 cm long.
    Margins: Top 2.5 cm, Bottom 2.0 cm, Left 1.5 cm, Right 1.5 cm.
    Article Components:
    1. Article Title (Thai and English): Centered, Bold font, 18-point size.
    2. Author(s) Names (Thai and English): Centered, Italic font, 16-point size. (A footnote with author information should be included behind the Thai author(s) names.)
    3. Author(s) Information: Name, Position, Affiliation, Email. (Thai and English). Include as a footnote at the bottom of the first page, 12-point font.
    4. Abstract and Keywords (Thai and English). Each entry should not exceed 200 words.
    5. Use Thai numerals, except for proper nouns or references with English sources, in which case use Arabic numerals.
    6. In-text and list citations should follow the National Library of Thailand Journal's citation format.
    In-text citations: Use footnotes.
    End-of-article citations: Follow the National Library's citation format.
    7. Indicate the description number and source (if any) of illustrations, tables, diagrams, etc., used in the article.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The manuscript must include the following components: title, names of all authors, abstract, and keywords in both Thai and English. The abstract should be approximately no longer than half of an A4 page. In addition, the academic position (if any), highest academic qualification, and institutional affiliation of all authors must be clearly specified.

Author Guidelines

Submission Policy

Eligible articles for publication include academic articles, research articles, review articles, and book reviews, in either Thai or English. Articles must undergo peer review, receive approval from the editorial board, not have been previously published in any journal, and the author must grant permission for the National Library to publish the article in digital format. If an article is not accepted for publication, the editorial board will notify the author but will not return the original manuscript.

 

Copyright Notice

The author grants permission for the National Library of Thailand to publish the article both in print journal format and online through the journal's website (https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/nlt).

Authors who publish with Nationnal Library of Thailand Journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Upon submission, authors agree to waive certain rights of control over the dissemination of their work in accordance with the journal’s policies.
  2. Upon acceptance, authors transfer copyright of the article to the journal, including the rights to reproduce, distribute, and communicate the article in all forms and media.
  3. Authors retain the right to use their articles for scholarly purposes, such as teaching, inclusion in a thesis or dissertation, and sharing on non-commercial platforms.
  4. The article will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license, which allows others to share the work with proper credit to the original authors, but not to modify or use it commercially.
  5. Authors confirm they have obtained all necessary permissions for third-party materials included in the article (e.g., images, graphics) and have provided proper credit.
