Abstract

Human library activities across America, Europe, and Asia-including Singapore, the Philippines, and India-feature human books who engage in meaningful conversations with readers. The project titled “The Human Library: Turning Pages in Human Lives: Career Inspiration from Human Library Experience” has proven particularly impactful. It resonates with young teenagers of Generation Z and early-career professionals, who are key target audiences at Museum Siam. The human books selected for this initiative are role models from non-traditional careers, namely a Chef, YouTuber, Game Streamer and Beauty Blogger. Through their stories, readers gain insights into these unique professions, which not only provide a glimpse into diverse career paths but also have the potential to inspire the next generation.
