Abstract

Dharma Atthakatha which affects deeply in Buddhist morality provides knowledge
covered in linguistics, history, archeology, (Buddhist) philosophy, folkloristic, psychology and
etc. Linguistics is remarkably praised in applying elegantly refined language and in
accordance with the principles of Pali grammar which has been used as a norm for students
in Pali subject since Early Rattanakosin until Present time with no less than 200 years.
Now that Pali grammar is contained in Pali syllabus of Thai Clergy in the subject of
translation into Thai and into Bihar. Consequently Dharma Atthakatha called as
Dhammapadatthakatha, a thorough content and language, is a popular scripture. As a world
literature offers a trustworthy benefit to righteously direct humans lives in all dimensions
proved consistently since then.
