Abstract
This Research is a qualitative research. It aim to study the community identity of the Pga K’nyau Ethnic Group in Chokchai Subdistrict, Doi Luang District, Chiang Rai Province, using a specific selection of samples to analyze the descriptive results, the results showed that the important identity of the Pga K’nyau Ethnic Group are the way of living in nature, coupled with beliefs, rituals and culture inherited from ancestors through costumes from the convention of wisdom from the family on the maternal side. The costumes indicate their social. From intervening in the matter of faith to be used as a charity for the children of the Pakagyo people. It is proud and a perfect reminder of life, with the original fabric patterns such as the Kuchakkan muddy pattern and the meglang muddy pattern.
