Journal of Social Academic was initiated by School of Social Science, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University in 2007 with Assistant Professor Thotsaphorn Munrat as the first editor and later in 2011 has changed to Assistant Professor Dr. Tongrak Jitbantao. The journal is issued two times per year.
The objective of initiation is to enhance and public the work products and academic views by being a neutral media for exchanging, and a source of published research results in variety braches of the social science. Since then many research articles from lecturers and students both inside and outside university were published. More important, the editorial team has facilitated the publication based on quality assurance of Thai - Journal Citation Index or TCI that has certified this journal.
The School of Social Science intently enhances the standard of the journal according to the TCI’s criteria continuously. For the moment, the journal is available in print and e-Journal, However, In 2019 issue no. 1, the Journal will publish in the e- Journal only to reduce the expenditure and to support "Thailand 4.0" concept.

The Journal of Academic Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, is dedicated to serving as a premier academic platform for disseminating high-quality research and academic articles. Our primary objective is to cultivate a learning society and facilitate the exchange of knowledge among researchers, faculty members, and students across various disciplines, including Social Sciences, Humanities, Education, and Social Development, as well as contemporary interdisciplinary studies.
This issue features a collection of Thai research and academic articles reflecting the intersections of education, society, and economy for the advancement of the academic community and society at large. The content encompasses a diverse range of topics regarding human and social development, including cultural tourism management and public policy, educational innovation and student support systems, and comparative linguistics. Furthermore, this issue emphasizes the enhancement of public sector personnel potential, the cultivation of creativity for aspiring entrepreneurs, and the transformation of local culinary heritage into a creative economy, all aimed at addressing the multifaceted changes in modern society. To ensure the highest academic standards, every article in this issue has undergone a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by three distinguished experts from various institutions. These experts are recognized specialists in their respective fields and serve as vital members of our academic network.
