Knowledge Management Model For Sustainable Healthy Community Case Study: Healthy Community Network Development In Upper Northern

Abstract
The purposes of this study were to 1) to study on the knowledge management of the sub-district healthy model for sustainability, 2) to find out factors related to the knowledge management of the sub-district healthy model for sustainability, and 3) to draw out knowledge management guideline of the sub-district healthy model for sustainability in eight provinces of the upper North of Thailand. The eight local administrative organizations (LAO) were purposively selected as the study group. Totally 252 persons of Chief Executives and Chief Administrators of the LAO, scholars, organizers, and modulators were the key informants. The interview form was used and also the focus group discussion for gathering the qualitative information. Moreover, the questionnaire was used for collecting the quantitative information which was analyzed to find out relation toward the sub-district healthy model by using the Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results showed that knowledge management of the sub-district healthy model for sustainability: there were three components. The first one was the procedure and steps for knowledge management. They consisted of five stages included 1) stage of knowledge searching, 2) stage of knowledge building, 3) stage of knowledge storing, 4) stage of knowledge sharing, and 5) stage of knowledge using. The second component was about the factors that affected to knowledge management. These factors were 1) the authorities, 2) the inspiration and model, 3) the procedure and method, 4) the training and learning, 5) the knowledge sharing, and 6) the activities that support the knowledge management. The third component was the four principles for knowledge management. There were 1) the principal of social capital and potential of area, 2) the principal of self-ability of management, 3) the principal of creative learning, and 4) the principal of network relation and connection.
Factors related to knowledge management of the sub-district healthy model for sustainability: there were economic factor and social factor influenced knowledge management for member and group level. In addition, the economic factor was the highest (0.384) affected to the four sides of knowledge management of the Sub-district Healthy Model and the social factor was the second (0.523) with statistical significance at the 0.05 level.
The findings also found that development of knowledge management of the Sub-district Healthy Model for sustainability consisted of six factors and four principals. The factors were 1) the authorities from four sectors, 2) the inspiration and model, 3) the procedure and method, 4) the training and potential improvement, 5) the knowledge sharing, and 6) the activities supporting the four principals which were the principal of social capital and potential of area, the principal of self-ability in management, the principal of creative learning, and the principal of network relation and connection. After the analysis on components of knowledge management, the researcher determined that the pattern of knowledge management of the Sub-district Healthy Model for sustainability regarding to the eight provinces in the upper North of Thailand was LIPTTA_4C.
Besides, there were the four problems: 1) misunderstanding, 2) lacking of unawareness from the authorities, 3) no procedure of searching for the identical knowledge and wisdom, and 4) the supporting organization that doesn’t response the needs of people in the community.
