The Good Governance Success of Subdistrict Administration of Pathum Thani Province according to the Opinions of People in the Provincial Level

Abstract

The studied population were people living in administrative areas of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization. The samples were 400 which number was calculated by Taro Yamane’s formula and were selected by random sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire and analyzed by using t-test and F-test. The findings of research indicated that:

1. Achievement of administration by adhering good governance principle, the overall was at the high level with mean = 3.85.


2. General information of the samples, most of them were male, aged between 30-39 years old, received diploma, worked in agricultural sector, and received income less than 10,000 Baht.


3. Comparison of achievement of administration by adhering good governance principle by demographic characteristics such as sex, age, education, occupation, and income. There was no statistical difference.

                   The results of this research suggested that the administration should respond more to the people’s needs to enhance their satisfaction, provide equal chance to all people, take more social responsibility, and also open an opportunity to people to give their opinions for solving related problems.
