Abstract

The research has an objective. 1) to study the current and desirable status of competency in technology Digital of teachers in expanded opportunity schools under the Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. 2) The Role of administrators in Promoting Competency in technology Digital of teachers in expanded opportunity schools under the Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. Is a mixed methods research consists of quantitative and qualitative research. The sample consisted of 277 teachers, 12 target groups research tools include questionaires and interviews. Statistics used in data analysis include percentage, mean, standard deviation. Needs Priority Index and Content Analysis.


            The research found that objective 1) The current overall condition is at a high level. The desired condition is at the highest level. Analyze the necessary needs by using the (Modified Priority Needs Index:PNI) technique in all 4 aspects. Ranked from highest to lowest are: computer skills, learning management, basic knowledge of information and communication technology, and laws and ethics in using information and communication technology. 2) The Role of Administrators in Promoting Competency in technology Digital of teachers in expanded opportunity schools found that In terms of basic knowledge in information and communication technology, there is training and promotion of self-learning. In terms of learning management, there is consultation and advice on using technology in teaching and learning. In terms of computer skills, there is training on how to use it to create a culture of exchanging knowledge and experiences. In terms of laws and ethics in using information and communication technology, there should be training on laws related to information and communication technology.
