Development creativity model to support entrepreneurial Intention for high school students in Bangkok metropolitan Region
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to examine the causal factors influencing entrepreneurial intention among upper secondary school students in Bangkok and its vicinity. The research employed
a quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 490 upper secondary school students from Bangkok metropolitan area and surrounding provinces, including Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, and Samut Sakhon. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics and Composite-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings revealed that 1) Self-efficacy (β=.51) learning management (β=.24) and learning environment (β=.15) significantly influenced creativity (R²=.69). 2) Self-efficacy (β=.31) and learning environment (β=.15) significantly influenced entrepreneurial intention, while learning management (β=.11) showed no significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. 3) Creativity significantly influenced entrepreneurial intention (R²=.71). This research suggests that creativity is a crucial factor with substantial influence on upper secondary students' entrepreneurial intention. These findings are particularly beneficial for educational policymakers and educators in designing curricula and activities that emphasize creativity development and creating environments conducive to fostering entrepreneurship among students.
