FACTORS AFFECTING COLLEGE STUDENTS' SATISFACTION WITH THE TEAM: A CASE STUDY OF A PUBLIC VOCATIONAL COLLEGE IN CHENGDU
Keywords:
Satisfaction, Trust, Self-efficacy, TeamworkAbstract
The study investigated the effect of four independent variables (individual trust, self-efficacy for teamwork, cognitive conflict, and affective conflict) on one dependent variable (individual satisfaction with the team). The study used Item-Objective Congruence to measure validity, and Cronbach's Alpha was used as a pilot test (n=70). To verify the significant relationship between variables, a multivariate linear regression analysis was performed on 70 valid questionnaires from Chengdu Vocational and Technical College of Industry students. Subsequently, 30 students underwent a 14-week Intervention Design Implementation. Then, the quantitative results of the post-strategic and pre-strategic plans were compared by paired sample T-test. Multiple linear regression results show that individual trust, self-efficacy for teamwork, cognitive conflict, and affective conflict for individual satisfaction with the Team have a significant impact. The comparison results of the paired sample T-test show significant differences in Individual Satisfaction with the Team in the post-strategic and pre-strategic plan stages. This study is to enhance the learning experience, cultivate teamwork skills, promote personal development, improve school management, and provide a new theoretical perspective for academic research.
