Guidelines for developing Thai entertainment contents into the global market
Main Article Content
Abstract
Thailand’s entertainment industry is undergoing profound transformation due to shifting consumer behavior and intensified global competition. To thrive, it must prioritize trendsetting content and international appeal, drawing on global success stories and adapting to the digital age. This strategic shift will be key to driving the industry toward global recognition and sustainable growth.
Policy support is essential—through funding, tax incentives, intellectual property protection, and international promotion—alongside continuous talent development to foster creativity and keep pace with global trends. Encouraging cross-border collaboration in production and marketing, as well as establishing a centralized data center for trend analysis, will further enhance Thailand’s role as a creative content leader. All stakeholders—including producers, directors, actors, investors, and government agencies—must work collectively to strengthen the industry and promote Thai Soft Power on the global stage.
