Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

        Authors submitting manuscripts for consideration for publication in the STOU Academic Journal of Research and Innovation (Humanities and Social Science) are required to adhere to the following formatting and referencing guidelines:
       1. Manuscript Specifications Manuscripts must be either academic articles or research articles (in accordance with the journal's policy and objectives). Submissions may be written in Thai or English. In the case of English-language manuscripts, authors are required to ensure linguistic accuracy prior to submission. The manuscript must not exceed 20 A4 pages, formatted in TH SarabunPSK font, size 16. All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published elsewhere.
       2. Title and Abstract Each manuscript must include an abstract in both Thai and English, with each abstract not exceeding 350 words. Both research articles and academic articles must include keywords in Thai and English, with no more than five (5) keywords.
       3. Author Name, Affiliation, and Email Author names must be provided in both Thai and English, formatted in TH SarabunPSK font, size 16 pt. Institutional affiliations must be stated in both Thai and English, italicized, in TH SarabunPSK font, size 14 pt. The email addresses of the First Author and the Corresponding Author must be provided for communication purposes.
          First Author refers to the lead author, the original manuscript writer, the individual whose name appears first in the publication, the principal investigator, or the student/graduate student who is the owner of the research.
         Corresponding Author refers to the author responsible for coordinating the publication process and providing guidance on the work, as well as contributing to data analysis, critical review, and manuscript revision.
          In cases where the First Author and the Corresponding Author are the same individual, only one email address is required.
       4. Manuscript Preparation and Referencing Format Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the designated template and must follow the prescribed referencing format. Each article type must be submitted as a Microsoft Word Document file (.doc/.docx) only. Page margins must be set to 1 inch on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right). Authors are required to strictly comply with the manuscript preparation guidelines.
