Administration According to Good Governance Principles of Bang Phae Sub-district Municipality, Bang Phae District, Ratchaburi Province

Abstract

       The purpose of this research was to study the administration according to good governance of Bang Phae Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Phae District, Ratchaburi Province. and compare the administration according to the good governance of Bang Phae Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Phae District, Ratchaburi Province, classified by gender, age, educational level, occupation and income.  This research was quantitative research. The population used in this research was 368 people in Bang Phae Sub-District Municipality, Bang Phae District, Ratchaburi Province. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, standard deviation. And t test and one-way analysis of variance and compare each pair with the chef's method.
        The study found that the overall governance according to good governance principles of Bang Phae Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Phae District, Ratchaburi Province had a high level (x̅ = 4.08, S.D. = .439). The transparency principle had the highest average  (x̅ = 4.19, S.D. = .532), followed by the morality principle (x̅ = 4.18, S.D. = .483), participation principle (x̅ = 4.17, S.D. = .591), rule of law principle (x̅ = 4.16, S.D. = .542), accountability principle (x̅ = 3.88, S.D. = .591), and value for money principle (x̅ = 3.87, S.D. = .556). The comparison results of governance according to good governance principles in Bang Phae Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Phae District, Ratchaburi Province, classified by personal characteristics, found that people with different genders and incomes had no overall difference in their opinions on governance according to good governance principles. People of different ages had no overall difference in their opinions on governance. When considering each aspect, it was found that the morality principle and transparency principle differed significantly at the .05 statistical level.
