Factors Affecting the Work Efficiency of Personnel in the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 12, Songkhla

Abstract

       This descriptive research study aims to: (1) examine the level of work efficiency of personnel in the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 12, Songkhla; (2) compare the work efficiency of personnel in the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 12, Songkhla, classified by personal factors; (3) investigate work motivation factors affecting the work efficiency of personnel in the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 12, Songkhla; and (4) Study organizational factors affecting the work efficiency of personnel in the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 12, Songkhla. Data was collected from a sample of 155 participants. The questionnaire was divided into four sections: general information, organizational factors, work motivation factors, and personnel work efficiency. Statistical analyses included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance with a post hoc test, and regression analysis.
       The research results indicate that (1) the performance level of the samples is very high. They are considering that the average value of each sample is the highest. It's time, followed by workload. The lowest average is the quality of work (2) for both men and women, as well as the level of education. (3) Age, personnel type, working hours, and monthly income. (4) Factors within the organization that affect the performance of personnel in the organization. There is a high level of relationship in four areas: strategy, personnel, and ability. And the shared values of people in the organization. (5) The work motivation factors that affect the performance of human resources in enterprises are highly correlated at four levels: work achievement, recognition, creative and challenging work nature, and work responsibility, which are statistically significant at 0.05.
