A Study of the Effectiveness of the Schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

            The research aimed to 1) study the effectiveness of the schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, 2) compare the effectiveness of the schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 classified by genders, positions, and working experience, and 3) investigate the recommendations for the effectiveness of the schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1.

            The samples used in the research were 490 participants: 152 school administrators and 338 teachers from the schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. They were randomized by stratified random sampling and determined the sample sizes based on the Krejcie and Morgan approach. The research instruments were a five-rating scale questionnaire with 30 items and the reliability of the whole questionnaire of 0.97 and an interview form. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, means, standard deviation, and t-test.

The research findings were as follows.

1. The overall of the effectiveness of the schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was at a high level.


2. The overall of the comparison of the effectiveness of the schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 classified by genders, positions, and working experience was not different.


3. The recommendations of the effectiveness of the schools under Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 were found that the administrators and the teachers should share knowledge in working together as teamwork, have virtue and morality, have very good problem-solving skills, and improve the environment to be suitable for learning activity management. In addition, the teachers should be friendly, pay well attention to the students, and care for their students.
