Guidelines For Operational Development In Accordance With Upright School Management Standard Of Schools Under The Primary Educational Service Area Office Kamphaeng Phet 1

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study status and problems related the operations in accordance with upright school management standard, 2) to compare the operation status in accordance with upright school management standard, classified by education levels and work experience and  3) to propose guidelines for operational development in accordance with upright school management standard of schools under the Primary Educational Service Area Office Kamphaeng Phet 1. The sample included school administrators and teaches, 317 persons in total. Key informants were 17 experts. The instruments were a questionnaire and interview form. Data were analyzed using statistical software, mean, standard deviation, distribution of frequency, percentage, sorting, T-test independent, and F-test. The research results revealed as follows: 1.The overall operation status, in accordance with the upright school management standard of schools under the Primary Educational Service Area Office Kamphaeng Phet 1, was at a high level. The most common problem was that students lacked correct knowledge and understanding about how to spend their lives with honesty. 2.There was no difference among the comparison results of the status of upright school management of schools under the Primary Educational Service Area Office Kamphaeng Phet 1, classified by education levels and work experience. 3.According to the guidelines for operational development in accordance with the upright school management standard of schools under the Primary Educational Service Area Office Kamphaeng Phet 1, it was found that 1) research had been conducted, including projects and activities that promoted the 5 characteristics of upright schools, 2) budget spending in accordance with an annual operating plan and a resolution of an education committee had been monitored, 3) activities had been organized to select and admire moral and ethical persons according to the characteristics of upright schools, 4) an instrument had been made to assess satisfaction to encourage communities to participate in the operations of an upright school project, 5) activities had been promoted to enable teachers and students to work collaboratively to oppose all forms of corruption.
