The Development of School Administrators Based on the International Standard School Management Framework

Abstract

This study aims to explore the development guidelines for school administrators based on international standards. It focuses on examining the factors that contribute to the success of internationally benchmarked school management, analyzing administrative processes and development approaches, and exploring their application within the context of Thai schools. The study is grounded in conceptual frameworks including strategic leadership, quality management, innovation culture, and lifelong learning.

Findings reveal that transforming schools to meet international standards requires high-quality management, strong leadership, and effective use of digital technologies as essential tools for enhancing educational quality. Successful schools implement management systems that emphasize student achievement, utilize data to inform instructional improvements, and maintain adaptive strategies to respond to global educational changes. School administration aligned with international standards plays a critical role in sustainably elevating the quality of Thai education to be globally competitive.
