The Model of Effective Development of Academic Potential of Small Secondary Schools: Case Study at Benchaprachasan School, Office of Secondary Education Area

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the effective academic potential development of the small secondary school students and to develop the effective academic potential development model of the small secondary school students in Benjaprachasan School. The target groups in this research are school administrators, teachers, students, basic education institution committees, and parents of students at Benjaprachasan School. The tools to collect data are: in-depth interviews, group discussions, and observation. The data is analyzed by content analysis, generalization, classification and compiled by content analysis. The findings were as follows: Overall student academic potential development was at a moderate level; The form of academic potential development of students has four main components: 1) teacher capacity development; 2) development of the learning process; 3) promoting cooperation with the community in the provision of education; 4) Supervision, supervision, monitoring. The model evaluation results showed that the suitability, feasibility and overall benefits were at the highest level.
