The development of training curriculum for school age preagnancy prevention in Nanguaratrangsan school under the secondary education service areas office 22

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) develop training courses for preventing school age pregnancy, 2) evaluate the use of training with : 1) compare students' knowledge and understanding and 2) study the level of student satisfaction with post training courses. The study was conducted in 4 phases. The first phase studied and analyzed of fundamental information in the development of training courses. The second phase created a training course. The third phase tried out a training course. The forth phase improved training courses. The target groups include 45 Mathayom Suksa 3 students. Research instrument included: 1) the training courses for preventing school age pregnancy, 2) the cognitive test and 4) the assessment of student satisfaction with training courses. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage mean, standard deviation and a pair t-test.
          The result of the study as followed:
          1. The training course to prevent pregnancy at school age consists of 4 components as followed: 1) course objective 2) course content 3) course activities and       4) course assessment and evaluation.
          2. The result of using training courses for preventing school age pregnancy were: 1) the achievement of student pregnancy prevention in school age after training is higher than before the training with statistical significance at the .01 level, 2) the satisfaction of student with the training using the school age pregnancy's prevention training program was highest.
