Guidelines for the administration of child development centers in San Na Meng Subdistrict Municipality from the deciding factor of sending children to early childhood education of parents in San Na Meng Subdistrict, San Sai District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the current situation, factors and conditions affecting the parents' decision to send their children to study at the early childhood, 2)to find out the guideline for administration of child development center of San Na Meng Sub-district Municipality from parents’ decision factors in sending their children to study at the early childhood level in San Na Meng Sub-district, San Sai District, Chiang Mai Province. This study was a qualitative research. The instruments were the interview form with 24 key informants and focus group for 8 people. The data were analyzed in a descriptive content.

         The results showed that

         1) The study of current conditions, factors, and conditions affecting the parents' decision to send their children to study at the early childhood level in San Na Meng Sub-district, it was found that the scope of Deming Quality Circle Management (PDCA) consisted of 4 steps, including 1) An analysis study of the current situation, having specified goals for developing the educational quality development plan with participation from all sectors (P), 2) having carried out according to the designed plan (D), 3) Having evaluation according to the action plan (C), and 4) ฤssessment results to improve and develop (A) and the learning management process according to the learning management model by focusing on the process of participation with all sectors.

          2) The administrative Guidelines for Child Development Center in San Na Meng Sub-district Municipality from parents’ decision factor to send their children to study at the early childhood level in San Na Meng sub-district, it was found that the improvement of the curriculum development of educational institutions focused on promoting development in all 4 aspects, giving importance to children and coordinating parents, bring the potential of children, adjusting the way of organizing traditional learning experiences and parents are involved in teaching and learning. Internal management must be driven to keep pace with changes all the time and personnel must work as a team.
