The School Administration by Promoting of Active Learning Management in Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, Nan Province

Abstract

            The purpose of this research was to study the conditions of school administration in promoting active learning management in Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, Nan Province, under General Education Department and to present the guidelines for school management in promoting active learning management in Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, Nan Province, under General Education Department. The tool used was a questionnaire. The target groups were 16 school administrators, 101 teachers of Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, Nan Province,  under General Education Department, a total of 117 participants and 5 school administrators were in an interview.

The results revealed that the school management in promoting active learning management, at the Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, Nan Province under General Education Department, in overall, was at a high level, if considered on a side-by-side basis, in descending order of averages, namely, the practice was at a high level, followed by the audit was at a high level, the planning was at a high level, and the improvement was at a high level, respectively. Guidelines for school management in promoting active learning management in Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, Nan Province, under General Education Department were as follows; administrators should be a leader in planning by defining projects or activities that promote active learning management. Teachers should be encouraged to implement plans, goals, policies, practices to promote active learning effectively. Administrators should lead and encourage monitoring of active learning management by requiring teachers, staff, and the community to participate, as well as encouraging staff to participate in the development and improvement of the school curriculum to improve the active learning management of the school.
