Abstract
The purposes of this research were to compare the emotional intelligence, to compare the school organizational atmosphere of school administrators in schools. They were classified by gender, age, educational background, and administrative experience, and to study the relationship between emotional intelligence of school administrators and school atmosphere under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 according to the opinions of the school administrators. 118 school administrators were drawn to be the sample of the study. The research instrument, a questionnaire, was used to collect the data which were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation. The hypotheses were tested by T-test, F-test, and Pearson Product Moment Correlation.
The results were shown as follows:
1) The result of the comparison of emotional intelligence of school administrators of schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 was found that there were not different gender, age, educational background and administrative experience emotional overall.
2) The result of the comparison of the organizational atmosphere of the school under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 was found that gender factor had statistically significant difference in the organizational atmosphere of the school at the .05 level. There were not different age factors, educational background, and administrative experience in organizational atmosphere of the school.
3) The result of the relationship between emotional intelligence of school administrators and school atmosphere under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 according to the opinions of the school administrators were found that the emotional intelligence and the organizational atmosphere in the school as a whole were not correlated.
