THE CAUSAL FACTORS INFLUENCING TO CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES MEDICAL DEVICE IN THAILAND

The objectives of this research article were: 1) To study corporate social responsibility 2) To study factors that influence of corporate social responsibility 3) Develop planning guideline of corporate social responsibility of small and medium enterprises about medical devices in Thailand. This research is a mixed methods: quantitative research and qualitative research. The population group is 689 medical devices. The sample as follow 144 medical equipment, 32 reagents and diagnostic kits, 26 service and software, 261 medical material and 160 others. The qualitative population groups are proprietor and president. The research instruments are interview and questionnaire. Data analyses are descriptive statistics, inferential statistics and structural equation modeling. The results of research were found as follows: 1) corporate social responsibility of small and medium enterprises about medical devices in Thailand such as employee relation, customer relations, community relations and government relations. 2) Factors that influence of corporate social responsibility of small and medium enterprises about medical devices in Thailand found that entrepreneurial competencies, transformational leadership, market orientation and have direct influence positive for the performance of the organization and 3) Develop planning guideline of corporate social responsibility of small and medium enterprises about medical devices in Thailand found that conducting businesses with care to stakeholders, economy, society and environment with morals and ethics as well as good governance to control of various activity It is honest, reveal and justice.
