THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN CATHOLIC DIOCESAN SCHOOLS TOWARDS EXCELLENCE IN THE NEXT DECADE

The objectives of this research article were to: 1) determine the factors and indicators of the development of school management in catholic diocesan schools towards excellence in the next decade; and 2) present the development of school management in catholic diocesan schools towards excellence in the next decade. It's a mixed research, the delphi techniques and questionnaires were used to collect data. The research process consisted of four steps: 1) analyzed the documents concerning the school management to the excellence; 2) interviewed a group of 21 school management to the excellence experts by Delphi technique; and 3) evaluated the opinions of 70 school administrators, with a rating scale questionnaire. The analysis of the data was accomplished by computation of percentage, mean, standard deviation, the median and interquartile ranges were also computed to test each of accordance postulated in the study and factor analysis. The results were found that 1) There are four factors to the composition of 1.1) personnel management is executives with leadership and professional management, 1.2) general management, the school administrators had reduced their command line, 1.3) academic management is personnel administrators with emphasis on the quality of teachers and 1.4) budget management is the executive who manages the budget efficiently. 2) The evaluation of school management in catholic diocesan schools towards excellence in the next decade's opinions was also overall and aspect at high level.
