Management Guidelines for organic dairy farm entrepreneurs according to the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy in Mauk Lek District, Saraburi Province

Abstract

The objective of this research was to 1) study the organic dairy farm business 2) study the management guidelines of organic dairy farm entrepreneurs according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy 3) study factors affecting the management of organic dairy farm entrepreneurs And 4) develop a method for the success of the management of organic dairy farming entrepreneurs, as qualitative research, collecting data from organic dairy farming business operators and government agencies take care of 3 farmers by using in-depth interviews.

The results of the study revealed that 1) The size of the farm depended on the area available and the number of dairy cows was proportional to the number of areas and available workers. Most of them prefer to raise between 20-100 cows, using an area for raising between 20-120 rai. Labor use was in their households and laborers employed in raising dairy cattle, were not more than 10 people, the capital used for the majority of their operations, on average. 100,000-200,000 baht. Most operations Produced raw milk and sold it to the raw milk center It in business for about 30 years. 2) Good management is very important because the business had a relatively high cost. Therefore, a good careful resource management process should be given to both internal and external factors. 3) 5 factors were affecting the management: personnel, finance, technology, information, and careful analysis of information. 4) Most entrepreneurs received profits from operating an organic dairy farm business in Muak Lek District, Saraburi Province, with the satisfaction of their profits at a moderate to a high level. The readiness to expand the business or not Presently, depended on the amount of output as well as the profit obtained can still do not reflect the success of implementing the Sufficiency Economy approach in doing this business.
