EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN 21ST CENTURY MODEL OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN CHONBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

          The objectives of this research article were 1) To investigate the state of early childhood education management in 21^st century. 2) To create an early childhood education management in 21^st century. 3) To experiment and evaluate of the proposed early childhood education management in 21 ^st century model of private schools in Chonburi Province, using mixed method research: quantitative and qualitative research by doing 3 steps. Samples from 201 school administrators and early childhood teachers of private schools in Chonburi province by Stratified Random Sampling and interview 9 experts random by specific (purposive sampling) that there are experts in education management. A Questionnaire, semi-structured interview forms, and evaluation forms were used as tools for collecting data and to verify the accuracy and suitability of the model by 5 experts verify possibility and utility of the proposed model by questionnaire. Mean and Stradard Deviation were used for analyzing quantitative data and content analysis was used for qualitative data. The results of the research were as follows: 1) the present state of early childhood education management in 21^st century model of private schools in Chonburi Province was found to highest level. 2) Early childhood education management in 21^st century model of private schools in Chonburi Province consisted of 2 components: Administration of 4 tasks; an academic affair, budget, personnel, and general were operate by component of management processes which are planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, with the aspects of accuracy and suitability was at the highest level, possibility and utility was at the highest. 3) The possibility and utility of applying an early childhood education management in 21^st century model of private schools in Chonburi Province was at the highest level.
