THE ACQUISITION OF POWER, THE EXERCISE OF POWER AND THE PRESERVATION OF THE POWER OF GREEN POLITICIAN IN SANSAI DISTRICT, CHIANGMAI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to the acquisition of power, the exercise of power and the preservation of the power of green politician. The research method consisted of literature review and focus group discussion with key informants, local political leaders, representative of independent organizations, government officers, Lecturer, teachers and representatives of the people totaling 30 people. And it was analyzed through the data analysis. Representatives were analyzed for qualitative data using analysis and interpretation of data. The results showed that the effects of decentralization are key to green politics are three major characteristics. 1) Acquisition of political power determine the qualifications of applicants selected to be representatives of the people, need to have appropriate knowledge, competence, empirical work, acceptable in society and able to coordinate with all departments.                        2) Administrative power Local government must be independent. The provincial government must act as a mentor who oversees the local government. Local government must adhere to the rule of law and allow people to participate in the administration of the municipality in accordance with good governance. Decentralization also distributes decisions to lower-level people, ie, people made comments to policymakers who are considered to participate in good governance principles, and working to served the people effectively then made people happy. And 3) Preserving power through project and local innovation. Research suggestions green politicians should create peaceful local politics in order to create new values and serve as models nation politics. This is considered to create a change in local politics first in order to change the national politics in the future. As for the development of political prototype, which is considered to be local innovations for leadership development based on the good knowledge, legal, administrative principal and knowledge-centric society always cared for the community context.
