Abstract

This research paper explores new medical and public health legislative measures to deal with drug problems in Thailand by means of a qualitative research study and questionnaire design opinion the purpose of the study is to 1) to analyze the principles and concepts of using drug consumption rooms in the management of drug problems in Thailand and 2) to analyze and analyze the integration of all sectors in applying drug consumption room measures. Used in Thailand for reducing health hazards from drug use and protecting society. The results showed that having a drug consumption room made it possible to reach the most targeted drug consumption groups. provide access to the best health care for drug consumers This has the effect of providing a safe environment that allows low-risk drug consumption to reduce drug mortality and morbidity. It also maintains social order and safety from crime. Reduce the use of drugs by people who use drugs in public. Avoid increasing crime in and around the area Reduce drug trafficking in public places. From the research, it is suggested that Legislative policy must seriously certify addicts as patients under the terms of the law. and having a law to reduce the dangers of drug use to have a drug consumption room resulting from the integration of government cooperation Local government, family, society, educational institutions, entrepreneurs, etc., in order to coordinate benefits for prevention, treatment and assistance to drug addicts.
