AN EVALUATION OF PROJECT FOR DEVELOPING STUDENT’S POTENTIAL FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE OF BANSANKHONG (CHIANGRAIJAROONRAT) SCHOOL

Abstract

The objective of this research article was to evaluate of project for developing student's potential for academic excellence of Bansankhong (Chiangraijaroonrat) school using CIPP model. Data was collected from 286 participants that were school administrators, teachers, school committees and parents’ network, all involved in educational management and participating in project activities and all of whom were purposively selected. The research tools were 4 questionnaires and a learning achievement summary form. Research data was analyzed by using the descriptive statistics: percentages, mean and standard deviation. The results showed that: 1) The results of the context evaluation in overall were at the highest level (  = 4.72 S.D. = 0.39). 2) The results of the input evaluation in overall, were at the highest level (  = 4.84, S.D. = 0.32). 3) The results of the process evaluation were at the highest level (  = 4.76, S.D. = 0.49). 4) The results of the product evaluation are as follows: the overall achievement scores of students of Bansankhong (Chiangraijaroonrat) school, academic year 2019-2021, found that the average score of learning achievement from 3 departments in the academic year 2020 was 75.40 and academic year 2021 was 76.24. The average score of learning achievement in mathematics subject area were 75.90 and 75.77. The average score of learning achievement in science and technology subject area were 75.58 and 76.39. And The average score of learning achievement in foreign subject area (English) were 74.72 and 76.56 that there showed the students had increased learning achievement. The school administrators, teachers, school committees and parents’ network ’satisfaction toward the project in overall were at the highest level (  = 4.88, S.D. = 0.33).
